Celine Dion

AHHH!!! Now that I got that out of the way. My mom and I finally got to see Celine Dion in concert. After 12 years of waiting. We always wanted to go to Vegas but never go around to it so when we found out she was coming to Salt Lake we jumped on it, well my dad did. November 2007 tickets went on sale and my dad bought 2 tickets for my mom and me. We thought we would be going to the concert November 2008 but it was postponed till February 22, 2009. We almost forgot till my grandpa reminded us. So we were off. Let me just tell you when the music started and we saw her walk out I lost it. I started to cry because I have been waiting for so long and I was finally here. I know o am kinda a lame o but I cant help it. So here are our pic.

A reminder of how different our lives were.

So two weeks ago I took Josh to go through the Draper Temple. Now I am currently not an active member of the church but I thought this would be a good opportunity for Josh to see inside a temple. I went through the Timpanogos Temple with my family a while back and I thought Josh might like it. It is just so funny to me the little questions he asked while we walked through it. For instance "Why dose the Baptism room smell like chlorine?" I said "Because they use chlorine in it." He said "doesn't  that make it not holy water any more." I could have died. But then I realized that my whole life I have know about the church and Josh has only been exposed to it for the past 4 years. The next thing he asked was "Where do they get the wall paper for the outdoors looking room? I want that in our house." He really enjoyed it as did I. I loved all the detail in the Bride's room and in the Sealing room. Oh does any one know where the get the lighting cause I looked at Ikea and nothing even comes close. T.T.F.N.

Ok so I am getting so bad at this. So this month we have been crazy. I have been working on getting our Banquet ready. Its the first weekend in March so if you wanna go let me know. I went to my Uncle Rogers last show in Utah. It was so fun to see him play. To here the songs he wrote and to know the background behind them made it am emotional night for my mom, my dad & my self. Josh and I went to the Royal Bliss concert too. For any one that doesn't know, they are a local band that has been around for 10 years but they just recently got a major record deal. So we went to the record signing party. I was cool to be a part of their history. I did a makeover night with my girl friends. Sounds fun but it was a lot of work. I worked 9-5 and did 22 hair cuts, then when i got home I did 4 colors, 4 cuts, 4 styles and 4 faces of makeup. Needless to say that was a long Saturday. So that is my up date. More to come  

Ok so I am slow at this so here is my Christmas Post

Me and Josh didnt go crazy for Christmas this year. We just had a nice quiet morning then went to my moms and opened gifts their.


For New Years we had a few friends over and played poker. They were hear till 4 a.m. so on Thursday I was basically a zombie. All in all I am looking forward to 2009. We are hoping to get Josh through basic training in the Guard and we would like to open our own Cookie Cutters in St. George. So look out family down south cause I think were coming!

Cookie Bandit

So on Tuesday I had to work at 11. When I got in one of my coworkers informed me that some one had dropped off a plate of cookies for me. This was a nice surprise at first. So I looked them over trying to find a card or a note or some clue as to who they were from. I found nothing. My coworker let me know the it was a man that was not too old not too young, not too tall not too short, not too thin not too fat, with dark hair, no facial hair, no glasses and wearing a maroon shirt. So I have called just about every one I know being so super paranoid and I am not finding my cookie bandit. SO you know who you are and... I WANT THE RECIPE! Did i mention they were the best cookies I have ever had, even if they were poison, they were great.

P.S. Roger took 10" off the back of his hair. They left Tuesday morning for TX. they will be greatly missed.

FYI!

So just to let every one know today at 4:00 p.m. I will be cutting at least 10 in. off Rogers Hair! So front row seats are still available on first come first serve basis. If you can't make it I will be posting lots of pic. soon. Plus were having his going away party on Sunday so you can see it then.
